Madness and Love It was a Dark and Quiet night upon the city of New York...

deep within the underground basement laboratory of the apartment/office building
of the "Straight & Narrow" street was a lone thirteen year old girl.

she had short bushy ginger red hair
and, wore a yellow shirt, green vest and red skirt.

her name was Darla Gugenheek (a name she Despises)
and, she was a super-genius who served as the "gadget girl"
for the freelance police detectives: Sam & Max (who lived upstairs)

Darla sat alone in her dark lab.
she was at a desk, fiddling with some piece of technology.

President Max's Secret Pony BrigadeIt's a beautiful morning on the White House lawn and President Maximilian I was warming up the troops.

"Ahh, Good morning ponies."

The Ponies all pleated back to Max.

"How's everypony feeling today?"

A Pink Earth Pony and a Yellow Pegasus pleat that they're feeling great.

"Well then, shall we begins today's training?"

The Ponies all bleat and look down, saying that they don't want to today.

Max all look disappointed at them. "Aww, Come on, ponies. We haven't trained at all this week. I'm starting to think you guys are just being lazy."

SaM - Bad InfluenceThe alley was so dark it was like being at the bottom of the sea on a moonless, overcast night after the heat death of the universe. For Sam, every step was a feat of willpower he'd never known he was capable of.

"Come on, Sam!" called Max, from somewhere in the murk. "Quit being such a wuss!"

Sam focused on putting one foot in front of the other. Max was right. He did have to stop being such a wuss. According to Max, playing in dark, ominous alleys was really fun. He said he did it all the time, and nothing bad had happened to him even once.
